Word of the week – 22.03.2021

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

This verse really spoke to me last night. There is so much that is going on in our country, globally – and this is causing a lot of anxiety. I love that the verse assured me that God cares for me, He cares about us – so let us keep praying, let us keep trusting Him. I know sometimes it is so hard – but call on Him, let Him know what you are thinking, and allow Him to minister to your heart!

Yesterday in church the pastor was talking about the nature of God – and he said that “He is still God” that really blew my mind away. No matter what we are going through, there is a peace in knowing that He is still God!

This week take time and talk to Him about what is bothering you, all the wrong and unjust things that are happening around us, tell Him what you want Him to do – but have peace and know that He cares for and about you so deeply!

Dear God,

We cast all our anxieties you, your word says that we should call upon you when we are in trouble and you will deliver us – we are calling up on you O’God, save us, save our country, save our world. And may we never forget that you are still God!

Amen

Thanks for reading and have a blessed week!

I love to write, talk and share my experiences, I strongly believe in the power of sharing and how one’s experience is enough to shape another person’s life.

Can I be independent in marriage?

A friend of mine asked me that question the other day. And this is what I told her: Being independent means “not depending on another for livelihood or subsistence”. When I look at the vows we make, the beginning of marriage takes away our independence. However, what varies throughout marriage is
